Adrienne Young is an accomplished award-winning creative writer, producer, director and editor with an utmost love, appreciation and passion for storytelling. With over 15 years of extensive experience, Adrienne has honed her skills as a marketing creative, producing for a variety of major networks including ABC, BET, TV One and Music Choice.

Though born in the California Bay area, Adrienne was raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. She began her career as an intern at NOVAC (New Orleans Video Access Center) a non-profit community organization, while attending the University of New Orleans. With an avid desire to tell stories along with having access to the organization’s video equipment, she frequently shot, produced and edited her own student films in her spare time. Catching the eye of the organization’s Creative Director, she, a student herself, was tasked to co-direct a teen video outreach program for New Orleans’ inner city youth. Through this program, she mentored and taught countless teens about all aspects of production by producing PSA’s that garnered positive acclaim within the New Orleans community.

After graduating, she was hired by WDSU, the NBC New Orleans affiliate as a Promo Producer, Writer and Editor producing everything from local car commercials to News packages and PSA’s. She eventually moved on to work for local ABC and WB television affiliates before making the life-altering career jump to New York City.

Shortly after moving to New York, Adrienne landed a job at BET as a creative “Preditor” AKA Producer/Editor. As a Preditor, she wrote, produced and edited on-air promotional campaigns for BET’s College Hill, Keyshia Cole, the BET Awards and BET’s Celebration of Gospel along with producing and editing several episodes of BET’s Access Granted. Post BET years, Adrienne worked for Music Choice, developing campaigns for both Off- Channel and On-Channel Marketing as well as spearheading the award-winning PSA campaign, Rock Ur Pink, Music Choice’s pink ribbon initiative featuring Kelly Rowland, Patrick Stump and Melanie Fiona.

Adrienne currently serves as a Writer/Producer for Disney ABC writing, directing and producing trailers, promos and compelling brand content for ABC’s #1 hit show, Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19 and ABC Specials content and resides in the city of “Angels” - Los Angeles.
